I've had breakfast here several times and I've always been pleased with the food, the atmosphere, and the service. It's usually quite busy on weekends, which is understandable. The prices for breakfast are reasonable, and the food is consistently well-prepared. I highly recommend adding sausage to your order; it's locally made and very delicious!

I ordered a grilled cheese sandwich with fries. I requested tomatoes and mushrooms, but they were added raw and cold, and the cheese was unmelted. The mushrooms were quite old, showing only dark brown signs of oxidation, but they weren't rotten enough to make me sick. As for the fries, they were mostly cold, with just a few warm ones mixed in, as if they had been hastily reheated in the oven without enough time. My partner ordered a garden salad, which also came with the same old mushrooms, but her sweet potatoes were excellent—perhaps the best I've ever had. I would have liked my food hot, but our waitress seemed more interested in chatting with a couple at another table. I eventually had to get up and ask her for the check ten minutes after finishing my meal. I also found the military facility amusing.
