The old lady not helpful . Never met the owner. Needs better customer service .
Enjoyed the shop. great to have a more authentic phillipino shop nearby. although for me 28min away. I will still drive there to shop.Food: 4/5
Found this little place to grab food to go. Saw the other reviews and thought, why not?!? The meals don't come with rice or noodles so make sure to order them separately. I got the garlic rice and adobo chicken with the pork egg rolls as an appetizer. The egg rolls are tasty, to go not as crunchy but delicious. I personally didn't need the sauce. The rice by itself is flavorful savory garlicky yumminess. The chicken adobo is in a sauce that you know was cooked in love. Really enjoyed this meal and look forward to trying more! (My friend tried the mongolian beef and that was a little too sweet for my personal taste but delicious)
So really a 4.5 but rounding in favor of the restaurant because it is worth checking out... and you know math. Half market half restaurant the food was what every foodie hopes to find in a hole in the wall. we enjoyed each dish that we ordered but the standout is the sizzling pork sisig! With the garlic rice it was something to come back for. I am not Filipino and suggest doing some research of the menu if you aren't either. The names are unfamiliar but the food is great! Will note that the place is run by what appears to be a husband and wife. As such the service can fall behind. The market is also worth checking out if you want to make some Filipino food too.
