Historic restaurant located in the center of Pisa, near the Arno. Positive and pleasant experience. Contained and relaxing location. The à la carte menu is excellent, but especially the off-menu dishes presented by the owner. Good wine list offer. Homemade and espresso desserts. Recommended for trying typical dishes but also discovering new flavours. Medium/high price but proportionate to the quality of the raw materials and the service offered. Didnt know this place exist since I've been passing as always on this area. Just saw the it on google searching for a nice restaurant. Reached the place but it seems dull on the outside. The owner is very nice and pleasant to talk with, very attentive. Served with warm bread and he always sees that its refilled with when its finished, appetiser with eggplant and cheese is so good. Ordered beef with fruity aroma topped with berries and bacon. the meat melts In the mouth and the cheesecake is a must. it's the best so far for me. From the venue to the manager to the dishes offered, everything is top quality. The location is inviting, almost an occasional discovery in the tangle of streets in the center. The manager is affable, courteous, helpful and patient. The cuisine is proudly linked to Pisan traditions, varied, well prepared and presented. Amazing desserts with a very good liquor trolley. More than honest account. A plus of no small importance: each table has a power socket to charge your mobile phone. Truly remarkable customer attention.
