El Chapala - Pisgah Forest

I was delighted to see that the restaurant was willing to accommodate my special request. I tried the potato taquitos and they were perfectly crispy and so delicious! The guacamole and rice were good, albeit small portions, and the salsa was excellent, especially the salsa verde for those who enjoy a bit of spice. Make sure to ask for it, as I highly recommend trying it! The staff was very friendly and the prices were reasonable. I will definitely be returning! This review was updated on August 29, 2022.

This place was great! Food came out very fast and was delicious! Service was amazing! Large authentic Mexican menu. Everything was clean. The prices were also very affordable. Will definitely be back. Best salsa!

The chips tasted like they been in that chip warmer for weeks. Clean the chip warmer got old chips inside it

My wife and I had a fantastic experience at El Chapala while visiting our kids who work at the Wilds Christian Camp. As Tampa natives who love Mexican food, this restaurant exceeded all of our expectations. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. We couldn't get enough of it! The only issue we had was that our stomachs couldn't handle eating more because everything was just so good. We were thrilled to have found this wonderful place and will definitely be returning in the future. Great job, El Chapala!
