Wooly's - PISMO BEACH

I always enjoy bringing family and friends to this restaurant whenever we're in Pismo Beach. The prices are reasonable, and the portions are generous. I usually order the fish and chips, as the fish is always fresh, and they serve three sizable pieces along with a generous serving of fries. There’s plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors, with fantastic ocean views. They even have a special menu for dogs, which is a nice touch, so you can bring your pets along. The bar offers a wide selection of beers and unique cocktails at average prices. I highly recommend this place if you find yourself in the area!

I really appreciated the self-serve condiments, cutlery, and water, as it helped keep costs down by reducing the need for paid waitstaff. The bartender was genuinely friendly and helpful, which was a refreshing change from the usual pretentiousness you find in Southern California. This café/bar has a fun atmosphere and offers stunning views of Pismo Beach, the ocean, and the pier! The staff is friendly, and they have a great selection of cocktails, wine, and cold beers. We always make a point to visit when we're in town. Our top picks are the fantastic fries and delicious fish tacos, which are served in generous portions!

We go here every time we visit family in San Luis Obispo. Every time has been a fantastic experience and the food is always really good! Sometimes it can be hard to find a table to sit at, depending on what time you visit. But the employees are usually pretty good at cleaning tables up quickly so other people can sit. Their drinks menu is also fantastic and I highly recommend visiting this restaurant when you're in the area.

Great view of the beach, ocean, and pier. Food comes out quick and is on par with better chain restaurants. They have open seating so consider splitting up in the order line to get a good seat. Also it can get quite busy around noon on the weekends, so you may want to come in a little earlier or later.
