Commonplace Coffee - Pittsburgh

Commonplace has some of the very best coffee in Pittsburgh. The Point Breeze location is especially comfortable, both because of the great folks who work there and also because of the charming, comfortable garden behind the store. It's both a perfect neighborhood resource and a welcoming spot to connect with friends or colleagues if you're coming from a different part of town.

Great location to sit and work on a project or meet up with someone. Drinks are very good and crafted with care. Be sure to check out the neighborhood shops as well. Sensory review: plenty of natural light in the seating area. Large single person restroom in the back. This cafe tends to be a quieter space depending on how many people are seated inside. Chairs and tables are noisy against the floor. Outdoor courtyard seating available during nice weather.

Super dig this place. If you're living or visiting in the general area I would highly recommend this place. Has a super welcoming and homey vibe. Employees very obviously don't hate their life and are willing to share their experiences within the city. Met locals both times I came here and had cool chats about the neighborhood and surrounding area.

I love the vibe of this location. It is nestled in a lush valley with a beautiful garden. The baristas are engaging and make incredible cups of coffee. This shop is the stop!

Only coffee I like in pittsburgh. And the point breeze location backyard is so relaxing! They adjusted their shop so quickly and efficiently during COVID and I really appreciate them taking precautions seriously :
