Our waiter was very loquacious and entertaining, but disappeared when it was time to pay our bill and get back to work. I had to go to the reception so someone could track him. Oh, the food was good for lunch. I had a house salad and shrimp taco that were better than average

Last week, I met a friend for lunch at a restaurant. It was very quiet, with only a few other diners. Our waiter was talkative and amusing, but he disappeared when it was time to pay the bill and return to work. I had to go to the front desk to find someone to locate him. However, the food was quite good for lunch. I ordered a house salad and shrimp taco, and they were both above average in quality.

We were hoping for an authentic restaurant experience, but were disappointed to find that the establishment was more of a bar. While suitable for casual bar food, it fell short of our expectations for a proper dinner outing.

When we arrived at the 25th floor of the hotel, we had trouble finding the restaurant. At the same time, there was a happy hour buffet at the Embassy Suites with free drinks, causing long lines for food and drinks. After finally navigating through the crowd, we found a few tables and booths with no table settings. We asked a host if this was the Elevations restaurant, and he confirmed it was. Despite having a reservation for 4, he didn't seem to care and told us to sit anywhere. He did offer us access to the buffet and bar for free, indicating that very few people outside of hotel guests visit this place. We were given paper menus, one of which had the name of the bar next door. The prices were high and the options limited. Eventually, we ordered our food and had to request silverware. My cloth napkin had black stains, so I asked for a replacement. Our food arrived, and fortunately it was tasty, but we only ordered burgers and shrimp tacos as we didn't expect this to be a fine dining establishment.
