I am a big fan of Panera and frequent their restaurants often. However, I was disappointed with the French Onion Soup in a bread bowl that I had this past Sunday. The portion size was noticeably smaller than in previous years, with barely one cup of soup in the small bread bowl. I would have preferred to just order the soup in a regular bowl with a side of bread for the right proportion. My sister, on the other hand, thoroughly enjoyed her BBQ chicken salad and claims it is her go-to order at Panera. We also tried the various lemonade flavors, but found them to be high in calories and unnecessary with caffeine, so we were not fans of those. If anyone from Panera is reading this, I suggest keeping the flavors but making them sugar-free and removing the caffeine. Despite the disappointments, the service was good and parking was easy and ample at the Galleria location. Overall, I will still continue to go to Panera for work meetings and convenience, but I now know what not to order next time.
Kids always enjoy the Mac and cheese and service was fast because the line was short but my salad was just sad (see pic with wilted lettuce and sub par ingredients. Dine in area was clean. Also, it would be great if the menu had more information (whatis in a Baja bowl? .
I decided to visit this restaurant after finding Michel's Fish Market still closed. I arrived at 10:30am, mistakenly thinking it opened at 12pm. I ordered a soda and was impressed by the nice location and clean interior. The cashier even looked up my rewards card for me.
This is one of the better paneras to sit and enjoy your time at. You have access to mall seating/ atmosphere and services are usually very well timed.
