Rocky's Cafe - Pittsburgh

This restaurant serves food that is worse than dog food. It is the worst food I have ever purchased in my life.

Don't eat them here. eating is mediocre and the owner is kind of reactionary.

The waitress was very pleasant, but unfortunately, that was the only positive aspect of my experience. The food was average at best. The chef, who I presume is the owner, was not wearing a mask and kept complaining about it, which made me uncomfortable as the only customer wearing one. The owner also went on a few political rants during my visit, which I found off-putting. There are many other dining options in Bloomfield that offer superior food without the added annoyance of political commentary.

I visited this restaurant three years ago and regret not posting a review then. However, my Facebook memories recently reminded me of this visit. I was pregnant with my three-year-old at the time, and my husband and I stopped for breakfast before heading to the maternity unit at West Penn. The breakfast was unforgettable - it tasted like a homemade meal, reminding me of my childhood. The taste and atmosphere were truly authentic Pittsburgh. I will definitely be returning soon.
