Terrene - Pittsburgh

The Steak Chili was absolutely delicious! It had just the right amount of spice, and it was packed with generous pieces of steak, corn, and red peppers. I completely forgot to take a picture until it was almost all gone! However, I did manage to snap a photo of The Pittsburgh Salad. The steak was cooked perfectly, and the homemade ranch dressing was spot on!

We ordered a pulled pork flatbread and mushroom soup for takeout. The pulled pork flatbread was fantastic, and the mushroom soup was warm and comforting—not too creamy and not too watery. We will definitely return!

While taking my family on a tour of the city, we decided to grab an outdoor bite to eat at Terrene. I had a fried chicken salad... the ranch was amazing! My daughter loved her vegetarian burger, and my new son-in-law really enjoyed his shrimp grits! (which is saying a lot since he is from New Orleans! Food was great, service was quick and nice (made sure our table was cleaned well and very friendly! I will for sure be back again soon, as this was my first time. As we were getting ready to leave, it appeared the store was getting busy... which is a great sign finally in the city! It's about time!!

If you’re looking for delicious and healthy salads that are definitely worth the price, this is the place to go. I tried my friend’s flatbread, and it was absolutely delicious. As for the salads, I’ve been enjoying the famous fried chicken salad, which I highly recommend to anyone who isn’t vegan or vegetarian (since it contains chicken). The portion size is perfect for me, and I personally loved pairing the chicken salad with vitamin water. You should definitely give them a try!

This restaurant is fantastic for breakfast! The classic breakfast bowl is an excellent choice. My daughter ordered the buffalo chicken plate, which looked incredible. The service was also outstanding—Aaron was really friendly and excelled at preparing the food! He’s a wonderful addition to the team. Overall, I give the food a 5/5.
