Ya Fei - Pittsburgh

We ordered through Uber eats. I’ve been a customer of Ya Fei for years. This order was inedible. We spent $178 and threw it all away.

First time checking out this place as we were hitting the stores for Halloween merch. The restaurant was clean with speedy staff. The egg roll (and spring roll) were delightful, be careful, the spicy mustard sauce is REALLY strong! We ordered two sushi rolls, the simple eel roll and the 'Sexy Salmon ' and the sushi did not disappoint! Looking forward to the next visit now!

Update; made the mistake of going here again. 19 bucks for chicken and eggplant with a 3 dollar upcharge for adding vegetables. When I gently told the hostess she might want to inform folks of that price hike over the phone she looked at me like i had 2 heads and asked if i wanted a menu. Tasting the food it is intensely spicy which is crazy for garlic sauce...and super greasy. Definitely not updating my 2 star rating. Bland dry pad thai and weirdly tangy lo mein.

Sushi was good, food was OK. But won't go back because the creepy waiter just stands in the back of the room and stares at you the entire time you eat! Brought the check while we were still eating and stood by the table behind us waiting for us to pay.

Someone at LA fitness told me about this place and I’m glad we tried it. The food is really good. Service is efficient and to the point too. Definitely will go back again to try more of the menu. We got lettuce wrap, odun, and another type of their noodle dishes and everything tasted fantastic. The atmosphere is a little dead tho. No background music and very quiet! But food is good!
