San Domenico - PIZZO

Very friendly service and great local food with a modern twist. Amazing view from the terrace. Worth a visit!

We had a 5 and 7 course tasting menu, all creative fish-based dishes made from local ingredients. Stand out courses include swordfish with a light blueberry sauce, paccheri pasta with squid, and an amazing ravioli with cima di rapa and bergamot. The reimagined tiramisu for dessert was a light and airy delight. Advice on local wines was excellent and did a lot to enhance our meal. Service was perfect, attentive but not overbearing. We were the last ones there but didn’t feel rushed. Other reviewers have commented that it is pricey, but this is fine dining and worth the expense.

This restaurant is hidden from the traffic, located in a calm small street with a wonderful panoramic view of the sea sunset. Parking is right in front, and this is something rare for Pizzo. We took the degustation menu, with 6 courses for only €45! Great quality, innovation and service. I absolutely recommend it!
