Kennedy Fried Chicken - Plainfield

I’ve visited this restaurant several times, and the food has consistently been above average and truly delicious. In my humble opinion, their cheese steak is the best I’ve ever had. The staff is friendly and accommodating, always willing to help and recommend items from the menu. Although it's located in an urban setting, the main draw here is the fantastic food. Do yourself a favor and order the cheese steak—it's worth it! I give the cheese steak five stars!

The guy at the front desk is really nice. The food here is excellent—it's one of those places that never gets old. While it might not be the most visually appealing spot, the food is simply amazing, and they offer some great deals. It's a perfect place for a cheat day if you want to enjoy some delicious, indulgent food that's not typical fast food.

I really did not enjoy this place at all. The staff seemed to be very young and inexperienced, and the food was quite disappointing. They also didn’t wear gloves while handling food, which is concerning. I’m surprised that anyone would want to eat here. One of the employees was extremely rude, and the overall atmosphere felt very unwelcoming. It felt like there was a mix of food and vaping supplies, which I found odd. I don't like dining in environments that feel unsafe or unclean. Overall, I would rate the food a 1 out of 5.

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. The owner or staff placed a dirty, scruffy foot mat on the shelf right in front of where the food was being served. When I pointed this out, his response was to ask if I would have said the same thing if it were a white restaurant. I was extremely disheartened because he completely disregarded hygiene, focusing instead on a defensively negative perspective. I've attached pictures showing the unsanitary conditions we encountered, with dirt directly on the serving area. This happened just 30 minutes ago. We must prioritize our health; cleanliness is essential.
