The Shed Huntington Ny - Plainview

Nice place. Expensive but portion size was big. We tried chicken Caesar salad (substituted the chicken for spicy honey glazed fried chicken, if you like something spicy) and chicken and waffles with habanero honey. Habanero honey was little bit spicy but goes well with the fried chicken. Hot chocolate and cappuccino was good.

The food here was delicious and the staff was friendly and attentive. We got there just in time before the lunch rush hour. The restaurant went form having just our table to being completely full and with a wait in just 30 minutes. The smoke burger was delicious!

Lovely venue and polite, attentive service. The namesake shed salad bowl was disappointing, but with a few tweaks could easily be made much better. The radish was good, but it needed more. The goat cheese was good, but it needed more. The wild rice base was barely present and was hard, as in undercooked, and overwhelmed by the leafy bed. The chicken was good. The mushrooms were very bland. The sweet potato was good but gosh it would be great with a sprinkle of rosemary salt.

The restaurant is so pretty. Went for brunch and have been for dinner. Dinner is a little more on the pricey end, but not bad. Brunch was good but missing some flavor thought overall good. Staff are nice and setup is pretty.

Visited for the first time and the atmosphere and food was amazing. We ordered the Omlette, Biscuit Benedict, Chicken and Waffles and Brioche French Toast. Everything was cooked perfectly and came out together so no one was waiting for their meal. We shared these plates and the overall favorite for our group was the Omlette. It was fluffy and packed with ingredients. Would definitely come back here for brunch to try out their other menu items!
