Lola's Bistro Grill - Plainville

The food was excellent, and also large portions. I had salmon potatoes and vegetables. It brings your own alcohol, so if you're not familiar with the place. The place was clean, the waitress was sharp and efficient. I definitely go back.

Food was good. Service was great. We enjoyed it. BUT you need to bring your own beer. That's right BYOB.

I've ordered from Lola's about 4 times in the last few years. I've loved every meal we've had. All I can say, is I don't know why we haven't eaten here more often. The food is always delicious, the portions are more than generous, and the service is always great. I found my favorite restaurant in Plainville. If you haven't tried Lola's I suggest you do. We had been wanting to try this place for a while and showed up with a party of 6, no rezzo and no wait. Found out it was BYOB when we got there but nbd, grabbed a bottle of wine from around the corner. We can be picky, but were all blown away by the quality of the food. Pasta was fresh and you could tell the sauce and crab cakes were home made. Nothing tasted frozen and the portions were beyond generous. There's plenty of Italian restaurants but very few like Lola's. The only thing I'm disappointed about is that we did not try this place sooner. Our server was amazing too. She was attentive enough so that we never had to ask for anything but not hovering. We will absolutely be coming back!

We went for lunch after my father's funeral. The food and service were excellent. The room can accommodate up to 100 people, and they ask for an estimate of the number of guests. We estimated around 40 and were charged for 50. In the end, there were nearly 40 people in attendance.
