Half Shells Oyster Grill - Plano

The cod fish was the only thing I liked I ordered the seafood platter the shrimp were ok they were fried and some still had the shell on. The waiter was ok he offered samples but we didn’t get them but the table behind us got theirs. Overall I give it a 2. Why a 2 well the bathrooms were clean and the ambiance was aesthetically pleasing.

Thought it was very good.Had shrimp/crab Queso and a bowl of Crab Bisque.It’s nice that there is both indoor and outdoor seating options. I would go there again for lunch.

This place has a good ambience and a decent seating(indoor and outdoor) with a decent bar. Ordered honey chipotle shrimp tacos, raw oysters, chargrilled oysters and crawfish. Shrimp tacos and chargrilled oysters are tasty ordered few drinks they are good too. Unfortunately they missed to get us crawfish and closed the kitchen for which they apologised and gave some discount. Overall food was good. Customer service is ok. But the very reason we went to there to try crawfish was missed and had to visit another restaurant

Great seafood options and cool vibe for a Saturday afternoon with some March madness on TV. We got to the restaurant around 4, in time for HH which is 3-6 everyday. Enjoyed some fried pickles (very good) to start, a draft beer for me margarita for my wife. Service was very friendly, but a little bit slow. Fried shrimp and shrimp grits were excellent. It's not always easy to get well prepared seafood in the area but Half Shells delivered. We'll be back!

Went here for happy hour on a friday with cold weather and it was really busy! (That means the place is good)I think is a bit price, but this is a SEAfood place. There is NO sea near Dallas.Also not a fan of american seafood, everything is deep fried.Sat on the bar, the guys on the bar are amazing, excellent service.
