Kona Grill Plano

1. From I have reserved a moment to surprise my wife for our Valentine's Day. Well, it was more of a horror story. As I said, we had to wait for a table. On my special request, which you offer, I asked for a great seating area with a good view of the place. We're sitting in a dark corner of the restaurant. 2. My wife had to stand up to go to the host and ask for a server because we sit for 15 minutes and NO ONE CARED TO ASK if we need help. 3. I got my food gutlll my wife didn't get her bowl until a HOUR later. (Check the cameras) and that because we asked to talk to the manager or who knows how much longer it would take. Our server wasn't the best. We asked for water when he first came to the table, he didn't bring it 20 minutes later. Place wasn't insane, either there was no waiting line or nothing. To complete it, we had to pay for our terrible experience. Not what I expected at ALL to come to a nice restaurant like this. I drove all the way from Royce City to have a pleasant evening. But... it turned out that it was more of gas waste.

I had a reservation for 7 a.m., they were not prepared to put us for the reservation. The hostess scrubbed her shoulders and said she was busy as a reason why they had a hard time to take us. The dinning experience was very disappointing. The server has not consistently checked us. We had to constantly ask the server to refill our water glasses. We ordered sushi and two glazed salmon dishes for our meal. The salmon courts first came out and I lacked the sauce that stood for the salmon. We reported it to the server, but the sauce never came. To complete things, our sushi order was delivered to another table. We finished the salmon court before the sushi ever made us. This was one of the worst culinary experiences I had. I do not recommend this place and will not return.

Food and service were great. We enjoyed our dinner.

Had our reservation at 8:45 a.m., they were low or overbooked on servers because we got our place one hour late, although we had a reservation. Either stop the overbooking or rent more employees.

My family was seated 30 minutes after reservation. We were seated for 15 plus with no waiter which resulted in my family leaving.
