I love that my sisters surprised me for my birthday today! The service, atmosphere, reasonable price was great! The Santa Monica chicken add a little pepper to it and this is the Bomb! Tomato basil soup delicious and I?m so glad there is no cheese added to it! French onion soup delicious! Sweet potato fries seasoned and cooked perfectly! We all enjoyed the food and mimosa! All was good until I tasted the dessert this evening. It tasted off and when I cut the second piece there was mold. I am horrified and the taste is still in my mouth after flossing and brushing. Any suggestions on how to remove the taste from my mouth is welcomed. The five star review is now 3.5.

The food was so good I forgot to take a picture before devouring half of it! Between the chicken and waffles, high quality coffee, and inventive desserts like the creme brulee cronut, it's hard to go wrong! I recently moved to this neighborhood and I am so happy to be close to this restaurant The breakfast was great. I liked the Benedict, it was nice. Spanish omelet was good and delicious. Coffee could have been better, but anyway it was acceptable.

I got the chicken and waffles. It was good but would have been great if they would had added some salt to the chicken and the batter it was fried in. Also, I think it would be a nice touch to give a compote of butter and warm syrup instead of to go packets of butter and syrup. With my order I purchased a Chai Tea Latte... it was a little watery and once I got to the bottom of the cup I realized the contents hadn't been mixed well. My waiter was attentative and friendly and the atmosphere was warm and inviting.
