Pho Que Huong - Plano

I've visited several Pho Que Huong locations, and I have to say, their food never disappoints! There are plenty of Vietnamese restaurants in the area, but this one remains one of my top favorites. The meat is always cooked to perfection—so flavorful and tender. Personally, I love their vermicelli, but I've sampled many items on the menu, and everything has been consistently good. You really can’t go wrong with any choice. The only downside is that the service isn’t always particularly friendly or helpful, so it would be great if they could improve in that department. However, I’ll definitely keep coming back for the food!

The pho portion is generous, with a large bowl serving. I found it interesting that the spring rolls contained shredded lettuce instead of the usual lettuce, along with fried onions. It was a unique twist, but I thought it tasted just fine.

I've been visiting this restaurant for years and it has become our favorite pho spot in the upper Collin area! I highly recommend trying the P-17 (beef brisket) along with their authentic Vietnamese coffee – it's the perfect way to kickstart your day. Definitely give it a try!

I ordered the Bangkok Rice Noodle Soup, and I just wanted to point out that it’s not chicken and shrimp as it states on the online menu—it’s actually shrimp and squid. Additionally, the soup has a tomato base. I’ve been a regular at Pho Que Huong for years, and I found this soup bowl to be a bit disappointing. I was eager to try something new, but I recommend sticking to their other soups, which are excellent, especially the beef noodle soups. Overall, I would suggest skipping the Bangkok soup, as the tomato flavor doesn’t pair well with the shrimp.

The food was bland and lacked flavor, particularly the Pho we ordered. The service was nearly absent, with no water refills throughout our meal. The highlight was that they forgot to bring us the egg rolls we ordered, yet still attempted to charge us for them when it was time to pay.
