Vfw Club Grill - Platteville

Date of visit: Friday, March 29, 2024Fun little bar in downtown Platteville. Parking on street as well as next to the VFW.We went mainly for the Friday Fish Fry, so did not bother looking at other menu options.Got the 4 piece cod dinner, which includes coleslaw or cottage cheese, fries or baked potato, breadstick and dessert for $13. Service was quick. Food was good. Atmosphere is fun. It got busier as the evening progressed. Table plus bar seating available. Pool table, darts, pull tabs available. Each night there are different specials going on.We already plan on returning.

A hoot. Old time local bar. Fun place. Just had a couple of beers.

Visited for lunch- Hometown crowd, delicious reasonably priced food, and great service! 5 stars!

Great food and great people. Meat paddles on Saturdays are always fun too.

I like to go here for their bloodies. Good service and nice people.
