Poco Loco - Plovdiv

Excellent service tasty Italian food. I have tried the pizza, lasagna and a few salads (went twice). Recommend if you are looking for a nice romantic place in Plovdiv.

This place was shown to me by a friend of mine but I loved it so much that I am going there all the time and it's been perfect every time. It's a small family owned Italian/Mexican restaurant run by an Italian and his Bulgarian wife Maria. It is hushed away and hard to find but I think that these are the best places to visit. They are extremely friendly, Maria knows most of the customers by name and can talk with anyone about anything. The Italian guy is cooking and his wife is the one taking care of the customers, they speak 3 languages: Italian, Bulgarian and English so it will be easy for people of different nationalities to visit. The food is simply amazing, they only work with high quality ingredients some of which they bring back from their visits to Italy. You should definitely visit in the beginning of the year when they have come back from Italy after their Christmas vacation. They always bring pistachio with them and make a pistachio pasta to die for but only at this time of the year. I really can't find a reason not to go to Poco Loco, I go there all the time with my friends, we even make plans about going there in advance, we love it so much.

Real italian cuisine, great raw materiale and excellent service at average prices. One of the best italian restaurant where I eaten abroad. The cook, Italian, and his wife are very nice person. Highly recommended
