It was one of my favorites for fresh fish. This night it was disappointing. Fish was fresh but the cooking was not great. Cod always one of our favorites was bland at best and much smaller than in the past. They also changed the rice which is not very good . Tuna was very good but cold you would think searing it that it would at least be warm but it was not. Coleslaw is as great as ever. Maybe Monday was an off night. Service was also off started great then limited check ins. Will give it another try after labor day.

My family and I absolutely love The Ark. One time many years ago we wanted to find a local place to support off the boardwalk. The food is great!!! I would highly recommend the Guinness burger. It has been my go to meal there. They have a huge selection of draft beer. The menu has a variety of burgers and very fresh seafood. If you are looking for a place to relax and enjoy a nice meal after a day at the shore or out in the water do not pass this up. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Parking is across the street next to the Ark sign. You will not be disappointed.

Came here incredibly hungry and excited to get some food in us. We had the caesar salad and some burger that was apparently voted the best in the Jersey shore ? . Despite being incredibly hungry, our food was incredibly average tasting. The caesar dressing didn’t taste like caesar dressing and the burger was super bland and came with a strange red cheese that just tasted like a kraft single. A fast food burger would have been better. We didn’t really interact with our waitress and she only checked up on us once. I’d go elsewhere.

I tried a Guinness and the Cod Fingers as a starter, which was a new experience for me as someone who loves fish. For my main course, I had the White Wine Cheddar Cheese Burger, which was a bit messy with all the onions but was a hearty and satisfying meal that I needed that night. I decided to try this restaurant based on my colleague's recommendation, and I was happy to have found a place where I could relax and enjoy a good meal. I look forward to returning to The Ark soon to try more of their menu, especially another burger. Can't wait for my next visit!
