Shore Points Bbq - POINT PLEASANT BEACH

As an amateur pitmaster, I can tell you that the food was clearly made with care and attention. It was absolutely amazing and fresh! Although they were out of ribs, the brisket sandwiches were the best I've ever had at a restaurant and rivaled, if not surpassed, what I could make at home. The wings were juicy and perfectly cooked, and the Habanero Honey sauce was excellent. I would have liked a little more heat, but the flavor was fantastic and definitely finger-licking good! By the time we left, we were completely stuffed—like Thanksgiving dinner stuffed, so full I could have used a nap! I'm not sure if we just happened to visit on an exceptionally good day, but based on the reviews, this place is the real deal. On a side note, I've been in the restaurant equipment and design industry for over 30 years, and I always like to sneak a peek behind the scenes to check on cleanliness. I was very impressed with the open kitchen and preparation areas. Even the dish area was organized and clean, despite being incredibly busy that day. To me, that reflects a well-run restaurant with chefs, line cooks, and management who truly care. Well done, Shore Points BBQ team! We will definitely be back!

Without a doubt, one of the best barbecue and comfort food spots in New Jersey, especially in Point Pleasant. My friend and I usually take an annual summer trip to Joe Leone's for what we consider the best mozzarella in NJ. However, on our first visit, we didn't realize how quickly it sells out, so we ended up exploring the town to see what Point Pleasant had to offer and maybe grab a bite. That's when we discovered this place, and we thought, why not give it a try? He ordered the Surf and Turf tacos, and I tried a po' boy for the first time. We ended up becoming lifelong customers. Every summer when we visit Point Pleasant, it’s a must to stop by here. We even stay hungry during our long drive down from up north just to savor the food. The ingredients are as fresh and delightful as the owners, and their homemade chips are absolutely amazing. Do yourself a favor—stop reading this and just go check it out for yourself!

I'm not one to rave about food, especially breakfast, but this has to be the most delicious breakfast I have had at a restaurant. It was the hash tower and consisted of hash browns, scrambled eggs, avocado, American cheese, hollandaise sauce, ketchup and bacon crumble. It was loaded with flavor! No wonder it's listed as a crowd favorite. The other item was Chicken and Waffles Benny.

I have nothing but positive things to say about this restaurant! First and foremost, the food was both delicious and satisfying. The firecracker shrimp taco was packed with spice and flavor; just one, paired with some sweet potato fries, left me too full to sample any desserts! I will definitely return to try their breakfast and dessert options. The staff was also wonderful—friendly and attentive. Roger, in particular, was kind, enjoyable to talk to, and very accommodating. We will definitely be back!

Wow what a delicious lunch we had today. Started with warm homemade chips and absolutely amazing queso to dip them in, my son had the brisket sandwich loaded with frizzled onions and homemade cole slaw on the side I got a delicious salad with barbecued chicken on top and the best green goddess dressing I've ever had. Very lucky to have this gem in town we will be back soon. P.S. our waitress was the best today and so was the service.
