Fresh Pond Trading Post - Pollock Pines

Just here stopped on a ride to Lake Tahoe. Easy access of 50. It's the ultimate pit stop. I needed a break, but used my time and pushed my tank. The surrounding landscape was beautiful. The store inside had a restroom that was a welcome view. A lot of souvenirs can be seen. It was fun to look around. Soon I was back on the street, again on my next trip will pass this way.

I stopped by for a quick break and noticed a sign that read "CLEAN RESTROOMS." I can confirm that they are indeed very clean! I will definitely visit again.

Has inside bathrooms and deli. Lots of stuff. Had a nice hill for sledding when snow is here. Can get to it from both sides of the freeway.

I hope they stay safe from the fire. My whole family lives stopping here on the way up the mountain. Great place to grab a sandwich, breakfast burrito, drinks and snacks, as well as some fun gifts. Staff is always very friendly. Pray they stay safe.

I'm very thankful for this place because it's a great location for snacks and a restroom break on the way to/from Tahoe. I wish they had longer hours because I tend to travel at odd times. I'm pretty sure I always stop when they are open, even if I don't need to, so I can at least get a snack.
