Pj's Deli - Pomeroy

Pour out a pizza steak with mushrooms. Terrible. Table spoon sauce, meat as dry as dessert and it was not baked. Never again. EDIT... my 1-star rating on 5. decided to give them another attempt. I had cheese steak and bought a turkey hoagie. Both were delicious. Steqk was heavy and full of meat. Hoagie was also full and had the extras I ordered bread was delicious.

Didnt much care for the taste of the cheesesteaks. Pizza was not good at all; couldn?t eat it. It was dry, stale- seemed old, stiff cheese and crust. Definitely was burnt. Two stars because the fries were okay, and the bread for the cheesesteaks was soft.

Great place with a wide variety of subs, sandwiches, fried items and pizza. We had a few different sandwiches and they were all prepared exactly as ordered and great. The fries were great as well. Also had a nice selection of Herr?s chips and snacks along with bottled coca-cola products. We saw a few DoorDash drivers picking up food for delivery while there.

So we have been getting PJs for years but I have to say this is the second time I have been disappointed. We ordered three American hoagie salads and one steak in a box. All three salads had no meat at all!!! Just lettuce onion tomato and pickles! What a huge disappointment. That being said I am not sure we were even charged correctly because the order seemed inexpensive so who knows. But to top off the order the steak in a box had a stick in it!!!! What the heck!!!! Not sure how or why it got there but I have lost all confidence in their food. Food was ordered 10/19/21 at around 5pm. So not sure who was on duty but there may be a problem. Don?t know if I will go back. Took us 6+months to go back from our last bad experience with hoagies. Pictures are shown below. So I guess maybe check your orders before you leave??? Don?t know what the answer is.

Fast delivery, don't think this sad breaded Chicken sandwich was worth $8. They charged $3 extra for bacon and extra for cheese and used this depressing little chicken patty. I also ordered mozzarella sticks which weren't too terrible but $5.25 for the mozzarella sticks. Plus the cost of delivery and tip. So no, this meal was not worth $20.
