Hilltop Jamaican Market A1 - Pomona

This is one of the best Jamaican restaurants I've ever been to! I started with the pineapple honey wings, and though I didn’t take a picture of them, you can see the plate with the leftover bones in the photo. The wings cost around $6.99 for six pieces, which is a great deal compared to other places. For my main dish, I ordered the small Jerk Chicken combo, served with rice and beans, plantains, and a choice of salad or spinach. I would recommend the spinach option. My friend had the curry chicken, which was wonderfully creamy and cooked to perfection! The lady who served us was incredibly friendly and welcoming, just like Sharon, the woman with blue hair. She really went above and beyond to make us feel at home. I can’t wait to come back for the chicken wings and the Ruck Hähnchen Hamburger!

The food is absolutely delicious! The staff created a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The ox meat was incredibly tender, coming right off the bone. The Ruck Salmon definitely had a spicy kick to it!

We've been fans of this restaurant for over 15 years, ever since they were at their previous location. Our whole family loves their food, with favorites including the City Goat, Jerk Chicken, Stewed Chicken, and the amazing pineapple wings. They also offer a brunch on weekends that features bottomless mimosas, and my personal favorite dish is the chicken and waffles. This place is truly a gem, well worth the trip even if you're coming from out of town.

Food was excellent. When I came from South London and Brooklyn, I got the chance to taste authentic Caribbean cuisine, and this place also found the flavors that should be that. Clean, delicious and very accommodating. The prices are something at the top of what I would expect, but it is a treat, so would come again for the special occasions.

Finally found a place with authentic Jamaican food, and they also have a store inside the restaurant. The store section stocks typical ingredients for Jamaican dishes. Sevice was A+. We felt welcomed and the restaurant was inviting, even with an outdoor section. Family friendly, Covid guidelines, and Air Conditioned. We had the Beef Short Ribs Combination and it was the best! Tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. Highly recommend it along with the wide selection of Jamaican refreshments. We tried the Jerk Chicken empanadas and they were perfectly seasoned and spicy!
