Tacos Jalisco - Pomona

This used to be a great place, but my recent visit was disappointing. I ordered two Asada Burritos, and they were mostly filled with rice and beans, with just a few pieces of meat. The tacos weren't bad; in fact, one taco had more meat than the burrito. I mentioned this to the staff, and she told me that the new owner has decided to serve a smaller portion of meat per burrito. I felt cheated; I paid for an Asada Burrito and ended up with something that was more like a rice and beans burrito. This place has lost my business; I’ll be going to La Tapatía from now on.

I understand inflation and that costs have gone up, but if you're going to raise prices, at least maintain the food portions. Instead of squeezing more money out of customers while giving less food, they should offer decent portions that match the pricing. At this rate, it’s not even worth it to buy meals here anymore; they’re expensive and the portions are tiny. Honestly, I can make better carne asada at home. I probably won't be returning for a while, and I know the staff will wonder why I stopped coming. So, I felt it was important to share this review.

I miss the days when we had radishes, cucumbers, jalapeños, lemons, and all the spices available with our meals. It's disappointing that we've lost these great additions to our tacos, burritos, and tortas. It feels like a letdown to see such quality being set aside. Come on, everyone! COVID is behind us! Let's move forward and bring back the good stuff!

This Carne Asada Burrito was terrible, all rice and beans and there was hardly any meat in it, they calculate 1.75 for a break of acid cream and almost 2.50 for a sliver of avocado. The 9 dollar Burrito and a soda turned into 17.46. I will never come back

Tacos Jalisco is a no frills taqueria that delivers big on flavor. The dining area is clean but the bathroom needs some serious attention it smells like a neglected beach bathroom that stinks and needs some bleach and a hard scrub. Want awesome tacos? This is your place in Pomona but steer clear of the baño! Just like the terminator, I will, in fact, be back!
