La Couronne - Pont-Saint-Esprit

Every Saturday morning, having bought our groceries on the lovely market of Pont Saint Esprit, we all end up at La Couronne for the traditional apero. A crowd of locals mixing with tourists is always there, and the atmosphere is genuine and extremely friendly. The service is impeccable and you will always get a smile.

We stumbled across this place the other day when we were sightseeing in the unexpectedly delightful Pont St Espirit. We felt that the town is underrated in the guide books and the bridge and ecclesiastical buildings are well worth a visit. We spent a really agreeable couple of hours at La Courrone which was very pleasant and we very much enjoyed our light lunch accompanied by good local rose wine. The service was friendly and helpful.

By chance, we stopped at the crown restaurant on a night market Wednesday. All dishes are made home, they are excellent, quality prices all is present. The irreproachable service by respecting the gestures of the barrier. Really bravo to the whole team. A clean establishment and a very good atmosphere, a high and sociable DJ. An institution not to be missed.

Kitchen at home, good and generous and cheap, open on Sunday! To the services of women and women's kitchens, they are pleasant and friendly despite the world welcomed. I took a pizza.
