El Toro And Grill - Pontiac

We have been coming here for some time and we felt we should talk about what a great Mexican restaurant we think this one is. Our last visit was a week ago and was totally enjoyable. The decor is special. Service was spot on. I had the three taco selection, two beef and one chicken all excellent. My husband had the chile rellano (item #1) and the taste and flavors were superb. As always the chips/salsa was fresh, hot, and tasty. It can be a challenge to find a really good restaurant but this one is a winner in our book and has become our go to when we want Mexican.

First time coming here with my co worker and glad we did. It was like finding a hidden gem. We started off with a couple beers and had chips and salsa. Then my buddy and I both had carne asada. The food came out hot prompt and delicious! A lot of restaurants I've been to sometimes the restaurants are hit or miss, but I am happy to say that this place is A one all the way around. Will definitely be back again!

El Toro has a great Mexican dinner in a family restaurant. The decor is unique and reflects the Mexican heritage and corresponds to the atmosphere. There is a bar on or cabins to eat separately from large stand partitions. I had two cheese enchiladas with roasted beans and rice. It was very good, not too spicy and covered with many white cheese tips. The enchilada sauce was also very good, and the chips and salsa that came with dinner were delicious. My wife had the beef taco and beef enchilada dinner and she said it was very good. The staff was friendly enough and it looks like an authentic Mexican family restaurant.

When I visit Michigan for business I gotta stop and eat at Eltoro! I love their authentic Mexican food. I usually get a margarita and a combination plate. So good!

Myself and 3 others tried this place out of pure convenience and were pleasantly surprised. Great food, great service, great atmosphere. I'm sure we will hit this place again before the end of the week.
