Berghaus Diavolezza - Pontresina

1 hour to get food in a ski resort restaurant is absolutely unacceptable. This place was earlier better than it was a self-service buffet, but now it has to be avoided. The waiters were also quite rude at several occasions...

Returned to the Berghaus for lunch this past May during an almost month long holiday- and it was just as spectacular as the first time. Was very surprised at the amount of snow and much more wintery conditions- we were there at almost the same day- to the date as the previous time- and the first time it was warm, sunny and much less snow. No bother- we loved every minute of it. Food was excellent. My better 1/2 had the vegetarian lasagne which was unique- I had the large mixed salad with the freshest produce!! Had planned on dessert but our waiter was just too busy to get back to us. So we just sat and enjoyed the view! Hope we get to return again in this life!

At nearly 3000 meters above sea level having a rest you may a full package of nice place with great view over the glacier to Piz Palü , Bernina and others, getting lovely and sunny terrace, friendly personnel and excellent food reasonably priced at such altitude. just experience a nice stay for lunch!

Went here for lunch on the last day of August. The food was good as usual and the panorama would have been awesome would we have had snow that day. Was great though

We took the cable car up,(CHF38 return each.) Decided to have a simple bit to eat while enjoying the beautiful view and warm sunny day outside the terrace. Many tourist groups. Chinese, Japanese. People came from all over the world. Hiking, Mountain climbing...so the place is very busy. Not much the service I might say when you sit outside. We had a bratwurst each, costCHF12.80 per piece. 1 coka, 1 small bottle of wine . 2 slices of bread. total bill was CHF59....everything cost extra, like bread or sauce. You juge the price yourself. Up to you want to sit and eat at Berghaus or simply walk around without eating or drinking at this place.
