Írjon visszajelzéstMy family and I frequent this restaurant quite often. The pho broth is absolutely delicious, the meat is expertly prepared, and the tendon is soft and tender. My wife highly recommends dish #27, while my youngest son always chooses dish #18. Personally, I believe the Pho New Saigon with tendon, brisket, and beef is the best option. For my children who aren't fans of soup, the rice dishes are fantastic; I especially recommend the basil fried rice with tofu. Oh, and the Vietnamese coffee is made perfectly. The family that owns the restaurant is charming and friendly, particularly their young son Stephen, who our kids enjoyed entertaining when they were little.
We ordered the Bun Saigon, spring rolls, Vietnamese milk tea, and Vietnamese milk coffee. The spring rolls were beautifully made, slender, and contained several large shrimp that were clearly visible, served with a side of peanut sauce for dipping. They were fresh and light, free of onions or cilantro, which I personally dislike. They would likely accommodate requests for those ingredients if asked. The meat in the Bun Saigon—a mix of beef, chicken, and shrimp—was well-spiced and tender. The vegetables were fresh and crispy, while the sauce was light, sweet, and slightly tangy. The tea was delightful, and my husband also enjoyed the coffee. Service was good, though not exceptional. Our waitress struggled with English, prompting another staff member (possibly the owner) to assist. They were polite and attentive, especially given the lunchtime rush. They also provided a takeout version of my previous order, which was identical to the sit-down version I had today.
April 4, 2015 Delicious! What a gem! I was pleasantly surprised to discover such excellent food in Port Angeles. The dishes are incredibly fresh and flavorful, and the service is always friendly. Instead of the server bringing the check, you simply head to the register when you're finished. I dine here a few times each month, and I’ve never had a bad experience.
Enjoy our meals. Service was quick friendly. This device is not licensed.
Pho New Saigon. We were so happy to discover this little gem in Port Angeles during spring break. Being half Vietnamese and having a mom who is an excellent cook, I have a pretty good idea of what authentic Vietnamese food should taste like. For lunch we had salad rolls (cha lua, shrimp, rice noodles, lettuce, rice paper, peanut sauce), pho (beef, rice noodles, beef broth flavored, bean sprouts, basil, onions), stir fried noodles with shrimp and tofu (egg noodles, fried tofu, shrimp, bean sprouts, scallions, onions, and garlic in a black bean garlic and oyster sauce), an avocado shake (avocados and sweetened condensed milk, blended with ice) and a coconut bubble tea (tea blended with ice and tapioca pearls). The flavors were exactly how they should taste. Pho can vary in flavor depending on who is making it and the type of ingredients. The broth is the key to a successful pho and this restaurant has perfected it! Fresh ingredients, flavorful dishes, good prices, and friendly service. Definitely a place to try...I rate it 9/10. Give it a try, you will not be disappointed!
