Port Royal - Port Aransas

Best pool, fun slides, swim up bar walk to the beach. The staff is so friendly accommodating that makes you feel welcome. Super family fun!

First time coming down to port A and staying at Port a Royal. It was a fabulous trip, the staff was very friendly and great. I wasn’t sure how the food would be as it wasn’t that crowded while we were there, however it was awesome!!!! The whole family loved the pools, and the rooms were recently updated and very spacious!!

We had our first stay here this past weekend. It was an absolute blast. We stayed in a 2 bedroom with pool view. Room 6119. It was beautifully updated inside I have 0 complaints about it. They have cable in all the rooms so that was nice too. Of course the outside of the condos where the walkway and front door is still need work, but I don’t spend much time there so I was happy our room was so nice we had a wonderful spacious balcony. The elevator is still an ongoing issue, but we were only one floor up so luckily it wasn’t too much of an issue. Parking spots are tight, but we managed. All of the pools were a blast! My son spent almost the whole trip on the water slides. They have certain hours so be sure to check. Our whole stay it was 10ish-6pm for the big slides. I imagine it’s because they require more lifeguards. I wish they were open a little later, but they have a small slide that stays open, so my son was happy with that. I think the pool bathroom stalls and sink could use some updating, but other than that everything was great. We rented a cabana and it was nice to have that extra shade and ceiling fans. The furniture was a little run down though for the price. If you want a cabana make sure to book one when you book your room, they sell out fast. There are plenty of tables with umbrellas but most are missing the hooks to hold up the umbrella. We also spent half the day Saturday at the beach that was nice, they had a guy showing people how to build sand castles. Make sure you check their page for events. We were disappointed in the dive in movie though, they had it on a wall it was tiny you couldn’t really see or hear it. Plus the pool next to it was pretty dirty. They should invest in one of those movie screens they sell at sams. Overall, We can’t wait to go back. I definitely recommend coming here I would say 7/10 ?

I cannot believe no one has bought this dump and gave it a make over. I wouldnt take a free night here. GO ELSEWHERE! It is not clean it is not nice and im devastated at the condition it is in and people pay to stay here.

Love it here! Rooms are great! Love seeing how each room is decorated every time I go. So far I have been there 3 times and each time I loved it. The pools are huge and soo spacious! Jacuzzi are nice (there are 3). The drinks are great! A bit expensive! But delicious. I love how relaxing it is here and how it is right on the beach! They also play movies by the pool and live music! Definitely recommend
