Waffle House - Port Charlotte

Great service by this older man named Craig and phenomenal food and the wait time was only 5 minutes for 3.

Food is always delicious but the customer service is top notch here

The place is a little rundown and old, but the food was good, the service was good, and the price was good.

When I arrived, it was 2:45 and they were very busy. I was unwilling to go in, but hungry, so I left. One of the waiters immediately cleaned a table for me and I took my place. A second waitress approached me almost immediately and took my drink order. I asked about the steaks because they were not on the menu and she was very knowledgeable and answered my every question without hesitation. I ordered my steak medium, a pecan waffle, cookies and gravy, and hash-browns covered, lubricated and picked, along with a sweet tea. My food came in what seemed less than 5 minutes. All 4 plates were very present and the sections were perfect. The steak was cooked for perfection and the taste was excellent and did not need a sauce. The hash browns were the best, crunchy on the outside, perfect in the middle, and with a generous part of the beats I demanded, cookies and gravy... exactly right, and the Pecan wafer was amazing. All in all this was the best waffle house experience I ever had. The cook knew what he did, and both waiters gave 5 star service. Jessica was my actual server and I wouldn't have asked better. Thank you. Waffle House.... I'll bet back!!!
