Dessert based on chocolate, boring old fashion but good... Wine list quite short and the wine selected was not available... Frankly do not go there it is a waste of time unless you like old fashion, boring, at bit arrogant type of restaurant and at the high side in terms of price; not a right balance between price and value
Making reservation was easy. My table with a nice side view very pleasant.Chosed the lobster menu with the respective wines. The lobster was promised as a two course serving. My experience started with absolute fantastic amuse geueles. I had a glas of lovely champagne with it not included in the wine menu. The first course was called gazpacho. The soup with its very intense red colour was very much on the tomato side. It was covered with a piece of mozzarella and some pesto or tapenade ? The soup was tasty, but not quite what I would have expected as a traditional gazpacho. The Mozzarella was absolutely bland, a piece of cold gum in fact and added nothing to the taste. No wine with the soup. Meanwhile the lobster made his honneurs at the table. Looked fabulous. The first lobster course was boiled lobster claws with some carrots and cucumber thinly sliced on a small piece of pearl barley and some vinaigrette style sauce. The claws were well cooked. Nothing else. The kind of salad nice with the vinaigrette. The barley looked grey, was cold, I didn't touch it.A glas of wine came with it. Looked forward to the second course. Lobster tails from the grill with its coraille. A colourful preparation which looked absolutely smashing. The tails laid on a bed of mashed potatoes. Two sauces painted on the side and very green peas enrolled in aubergine or cucumber. The lobster was grilled to perfection. But nothing more. The whole arrangement kind of disappointment. Had my problems to come to grips with the chef's concept of this lobster menu. Nothing added very much to the overall taste. Besides the white sauce on the plate, but unfortunately only a teaspoon ! of it. The peas were kind of raw and bland as well. It all came with my second glass of wine. The wine was nice so I ordered one more glass. By the way no xtra plate for the bones which I found amazing for a one star restaurant. Now for the dessert. It was a bowl with a white chocolate mousse and a very fluffy white chocolate biscuit. Absolutely stunning.Very small portion unfortunately. I thought this is it. No way the real dessert now appeared. It was a pile of puff pastry with pistachio cream and a rasberry sorbet on the side. Again mixed feelings. The sorbet was fantastic the rest boring. It came with a glas of spirits. I added a glas of Champagne to it. No coffee for me but I got the mignardises. Once again absolutely top quality and taste: a mouth bite of lemon cake and hazelnut cake and a crunchy tile aux anandes. Lovely! The bill was handwritten. Didn't know that this was still allowed in France. The glas of wine I ordered Came as an xtra with 11 €. At home I found out that they overcharged the price for the accompanying wines... The service was very professional and friendly. The restaurant packed. Would I go again? No.
Excellent and high quality food, we took the lobster menu with pigeon, both were divine. Price is reasonable (108€ for the 7 courses menus. Place is nice, service is pro. Overall a very good experience. We’ll come back!
From the lilloise region, and passing through Morbihan, it is the second time that we appreciate the table and the reception of the vortic bleach. this restaurant deserves its star at the michelin. there is all the talent of the chef in the delicate and creative harmony of the flavors of each of the dishes; that of pastry that adds to the finesse an artistic touch in the decoration; that of the sommelier, who must have been a better worker of the france (mof) by judging by the pine's that he wears discreetly at the back of an impeccable costume and makes us appreciate a beautiful harmony between the wines and the chosen menu. In short, a complete brigade that cultivates the excellence that this prestigious star imposes. We always come back with the certainty of new surprises, but above all an unforgettable gastronomic moment.
Exceptional! high-end kitchen. A perfect service. We had a good night. Thanks again for everything and good continuation to the team!
