Growers Market - Port Macquarie

Just looking for in season fresh fruit n vegetables well here is a good fruit market that also provides out of season imported things too.Lots of variety, a refrigerated section too, breads, fresh juices, bottled legumes and now in winter soups too.For a smaller city that caters for many tourists too this is a great place to stock up on foodie items or just grab some vegan fruits for a quick fill up.

The big supermarkets sell bananas that are somewhat plastic. These bananas re more local and taste so much better. Also have Ricardos Tomatoes ... another local great. Veges and fruit generally fresher than Coles or Woollies and better choice. Nuts, eggs and honey too. Plus a juice bar and other surprises.

Always been happy with the service, prices, range of products, as well as the quality of the produce. Staff are helpful, friendly, and happy to carry boxes to the car and load them in for you

Stubbled across this market when in town doing some shopping. Managed to pick up a few things, some smallgoods, delicious mangos and some jam. Prices were good for terrific produce.

The Growers Market has potential. Not one that is exploited, as it turns out, but it could have been. The produce was not all tha special and not all that specially priced. I can get better at the supermarket in Sydney
