Northridge Fish Chips - Porter Ranch

What a wonderful little spot! The person who served us and cooked the fish and chips seems to be the owner. He was very friendly, and the fish was absolutely delicious. The restaurant has only a few tables and no restroom, which was inconvenient—I had to go to another restaurant in the same shopping center for that. Because of this, I’m giving the atmosphere a rating of 2 stars.

I was delighted to discover some excellent fish and chips. The chef allowed them to drain and cool, so they were neither greasy nor too hot. The restaurant was busy, yet the food was served in a timely manner, and everyone appeared satisfied, expressing their gratitude to the owner as they departed.

I absolutely adore this small business! They only accept cash, but that’s not a problem at all. The fish is a good portion, incredibly moist, and really delicious. The fries are a classic and cooked just right. The batter on the fish is exceptional—so crispy! I highly recommend this place. Everything is made fresh, so do be patient; it's definitely worth the wait.

Breading is really good. Not sure how they cook and cool it so that the fish doesn't get soggy or oily even after it's been in the bag

Don't bother. Cash only? In 2023? No wonder place was empty. Cook didn't look very clean either. Passed on it.
