Allora - Portland

We had a wonderful experience at Allora. Thank you, Tyler, for looking after us so well and for sharing your knowledge about the food and wine options. We will definitely return!

The options at the restaurant were quite limited. They were out of both my first and second choices. Unfortunately, what my husband and I ended up ordering was not good at all, and I couldn't even finish it. I won't be returning.

The ambiance is warm, cozy, and romantic. You can really feel the love that goes into the food. The Sugo se carne is simply wonderful. The Nebbiolo wine is among the best I’ve ever tasted—medium dry, full-bodied, and bursting with rich red berry flavors. Absolutely delicious! I will definitely be returning. Plus, parking isn't too much of a hassle.

I don't eat at Italian restaurants, since I am Italian and am always disappointed. But I just went to Allora for the first time and will definitely be coming back. I still wouldn't trust cannolis from anywhere besides Connecticut/New York though, so luckily they have a nice panna cotta!!
