Applebee's Grill - Portland

I had an excellent meal! The chicken breast was incredibly tender and flavorful, and the mashed potatoes and vegetables were delicious. The warm cake was also fantastic. Everything was just perfect! Mmm!

I ordered the Fiesta Lime Chicken for two as part of the 2 for $25 menu option. The food was beautifully prepared and presented. My substitution requests were handled satisfactorily. Overall, the speed of service from start to finish was excellent.

My burger was dry and came without any lettuce, tomato, or toppings, and I didn’t receive any side potatoes. The Oriental chicken salad was disappointing as well, with tough, dry pieces of chicken.

Today, we started with the pretzels and beer cheese, followed by the Bourbon Chicken Shrimp and Bourbon Steak. Everything was AMAZING! I’m not usually a big fan of pretzels, but these were perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. We couldn’t decide which dip we liked better, the beer cheese or the honey mustard! Our main dishes were delicious as well. We originally planned to have dessert, but we were just too full to have two, so we shared one—the new Dusted Donut Dippers—which was an excellent choice! The Dawn Amber beer was also fantastic. If you’re looking for great food and friendly service, definitely stop by! You won’t be disappointed!!

The atmosphere is delightful, and the staff is wonderful! The food is served hot. If you're looking for a nice place to unwind and enjoy yourself, this is the spot! I definitely felt like part of the family. The service is attentive, and the dining area is very clean.
