Bamboo Sushi SE - Portland

This restaurant is absolutely fantastic, with a wonderful ambiance and beautiful old growth timber details. We received excellent service from beginning to end. The alder smoked mackerel and octopus appetizers were delicious, and the uni flight was incredibly fresh. Their focus on wild-caught and sustainable ingredients makes it a must-visit whenever you're in Portland.

My partner and I love commemorating our anniversary at Bamboo. The Southeast branch is much quieter than the Northeast one. We were fortunate enough to get a table by the window, and the table next to us stayed empty for the entire evening. It was a wonderful experience that allowed us to enjoy a tranquil anniversary celebration.

As usual, the food was incredible!! This is definitely our top choice for sushi. The drinks and atmosphere were also fantastic!!

My husband and I were making up for missing Valentines Day at our favorite restaurant! The food was incredibly delicious (as always!! , and was incredibly fresh! The spicy tuna hand rolls were amazing, fresh and spicy, the way they’re meant to be done!! Other places should take a few lessons from here!!

The food at Bamboo was very tasty, but the pieces of fish were small (two bite small). The service was friendly, attentive, and the atmosphere was nice.
