Great burritos loaded with flavor. I love that they use black beans instead of pinto, and their salsas offer a nice kick. I used to come here as a student and was never disappointed. If you're in a rush and want something delicious to eat in between classes, check them out!
New to the area and checking out my options in the neighborhood. Hooray for a burrito cart!! So it's cute, little, and serves up three varieties: vegetarian, chicken, and steak. All of the burritos come with black beans, salsa, lettuce, cheese, sour cream, rice, and guacamole. Then of course the meats have meats. The tortillas have a minimal and ideal amount of char to them. Here's the thing: the steak certainly wasn't what I expected. It's more like gyro meat or kabob. It wasn't bad, I just wouldn't identify it as steak. Kind of spongy. That might be because it's prepared Halal, or that could have nothing to do with it. I have very little understanding of what Halal means... But it's nice to have Halal options in the area, for those that need or prefer it. I'll come back and try the chicken. I suspect it'll be more my speed.
I found this treat of a burrito cart a few years ago on PSU campus as a student, and I still return even after graduating! The sauces are all home made, as are the chips, and I would recommend getting plenty of both in your burrito!! There is an amazing vegetarian option which I always get. The flavors are always so fresh! Highly recommended! The family who owns this also owns a Mediterranean food cart located about 20 feet away, and they are kind enough to offer something similar to a Blazin' Burrito if the burrito cart is closed. Truly a lovely family!
