Service was EXCELLENT ! Thank you Ariel. Top notch pub food in a friendly environment of locals, tourist. We had a bacon ch burger a Rachel,both much better than average and at a fair price. Love this place. Best margaritas in Old Port, Portland, Maine.

My mother, daughter, grandson and I were seated outside. The sun umbrella from the table blew up out of its base and hit my mother’s hand and my daughter’s leg. We didn’t make a big deal out of it And went in and had our lunch. I am really disappointed in the staff that they didn’t come and check on my family and they never sent a manager over either. The food was good but bc they are so understaffed it took a while to get it. I see someone from the establishment read my review. I don’t want to get into a p#ssing match, but no one showed us inside. We asked if we could go in. No one from management approached us nor identified themselves. We went and seated ourselves of our own accord. Please be honest and next time be more accommodating.

We had a party of 13 for dinner recently at Gritty's. Molly, our waitress, was so attentive, pleasant, and quick! It was a fun atmosphere, and the food was all prepared perfectly. I highly recommend this place for a fun night on the town!

Great atmosphere, service, and food. We got pickle chips, a cup of vegetarian chili, and the falafel wrap, and all were delicious. Super fast service and huge portions!

Great food craft beer. Fast, friendly service. What 's not to love? Our server had great suggestions was attentive efficient (Thank you, Mena! . Menu is perfect for a beer pub in a historic port city. The clamp chowder was excellent, the lobster poutine was tasty filling, the lobster roll with house made tarragon mayo was succulent, tender, perfect! There was live music on the Tuesday night that we visited. This is on my visit again list.
