Karam And Bar - Portland

I ordered the lentil soup, but it lacked flavor and tasted more like split pea soup. The Chicken Kebab Plate was supposed to come with grilled tomatoes, peppers, and caramelized onions, but my order did not have any of those ingredients. I was very disappointed.

My friends and I visited this restaurant before a Timbers game and everything from the service to the quality of the food, atmosphere, menu options, and prices were absolutely perfect. We shared the Grand Veggie Mezza and Chicken Shawarma Platter, both of which were delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant and am eagerly looking forward to our next visit!

I tried the lamb shwarma wrap and it was fantastic. Other places tend to overcook their lamb, resulting in a dry texture, but the lamb at this restaurant was succulent, tender, and juicy. The tahini was delicious and the overall experience was excellent. The ambiance of the restaurant was also amazing.

Please stop by for delicious and genuine Lebanese dishes! The customer service is exceptional, as Ghada will treat you like family! I highly recommended the pita chips, original hummus, and fried beef kibble balls. The beef pie is fantastic, and the dough is surprisingly sweet! Overall a ten out of ten!!Food: 5/5

My wife and I rented Karam’s penthouse in Sky3 for our wedding reception. The space was spectacular, even with a little rain. There’s a gas fireplace that mirrors both the living room and outdoor area. Karam and his wife catered our 50-person event, and were incredibly gracious and kind. Many of our guests claimed it was the best Lebanese food they’d ever had, and I’m hoping it generates business for these wonderful people. There was also Bluetooth for my iPhone to play music, and a flat screen TV I was able to hook my laptop to for a PowerPoint slideshow. It was truly a night to remember, and Karam made it all possible. We’re so happy!
