Pip's Original Doughnuts Chai

Still dreaming about the candied maple bacon donut! Place is kinda small but cozy inside; parking very limited. I arrived about 30 minutes before they opened on a Sunday and there was already a line. Once open, the line moved at a decent pace. I ordered a dozen they are bite size. 10 stars for flavor (warm donuts for the win).

Okay if your in the Portland area GO! Worth the wait! Unique and delicious!! I could stop there but since I believe spending energy on lavishing praise….here goes! Pips deserves it!! ?I hadn’t been to a place where you can get a flight of donuts or a flight of chai to sample before. But wow, how yummy and fun! First, I’d tell you not to be intimidated by the line. I happened to arrive five minutes before opening via Uber and as an out of towner I was surprised. My niece had picked our meet up location and I didn’t have time to read up on it. We waited all of ten minutes to get up to the counter. Having said that, it would have been worth a thirty minute wait! Of course we got a dozen to try as they are small! Yum yum yum! Strawberry rhubarb was the seasonal choice and turned out to be my favorite. Second only to the bacon. I love a good savory sweet situation with almost any food item! Warm and crispy! But for simple tastes you couldNever go wrong with just cinnamon and sugar!We enjoy a flight of chai to sample together and my personal favorite was the smoky, followed by ginger flavor. I like the intensity. I’m a true blue coffee person so I should have followedUp with a cup of Joe, but we talked to much to have time for that.I loved every bit of this fantastic spot!

Pip’s is a local legend for a good reason! Absolutely delicious freshly-made mini donuts and unique flavors of chai made in-house. Expect lines at all times of day, including immediately at opening time. I promise you it’s worth the wait!

Tasty Donuts. Friendly Staff. Expect a line at all times. We waited behind 20 people and it took 30 mins to order. Prices are ok. This is a interesting place bc down in phoenix at Bobby-Q BBQ Restaurant and Steakhouse they produce these donuts for free just like bread at restaurants. Overall cozy atmosphere just a nice place to check out but don’t expect amazing quality.

5 star as the donuts are soooo worth the hype and wait.Staff is friendly but our order was completely wrong and we didn’t want to go back and get them to remake it.Line goes by SLOW!Overall I would still come again and again.
