Ribollita - Portland

After several enjoyable meals at Ribolitta, we were very disappointed during our last visit. The hostess was extremely rude and indifferent. In fact the party in front of us left due to her rudeness. We stayed because we like the food, but were dismayed to find a shard of metal in the tomato sauce. After paying our bill, we told the waitress that she should alert the kitchen to the problem. She did so, but no one bothered to neither apologize nor acknowledge the incident. Fortunately the metal was not swallowed. The reaction was totally indifferent and unacceptable. We will not return.

We were on Friday at 17.30 in an empty restaurant. we wanted to have a drink, then order appetizer and then order dinner. she gave us mourning to take too much of her time because she had a reservation for our table in 2 hours....after a drink we left her to neigent her to her empty restaurant.

Here they do not waste their time with so many large restaurants in the environment. we booked a week in advance and had to wait 30 minutes at the arrival. the service was extremely slow. portions were small and the chicken salt imbocca was dry and overboiled, and the gnocchi was not very good

Excellent dinner. party of eight, great atmosphere! hands down best flan I ever had!

My had Fettuccini Alfredo. It was meh. Predominant flavor was nutmeg. We did get takeout so it’s likely better in the restaurant. I had the chicken Saltimbocca. It was over cooked and tough. . My husband had a chicken pasta dish and wasn’t impressed either. .
