Sushi One - Portland

High quality food at a reasonable price. There aren't very many places that make you feel welcome every time without breaking the bank. I've been a patron for 4 years and have yet to have anything other than great food and great service. Also, the sashimi portions are large, excellent cuts of fish. They don't hold back on anything. Gotta love it.

Sushi One my new favorite sushi place! Presentations are gorgeous, the food is absolutely top-notch, and the complexity of flavors is like nothing I've experienced in any other sushi restaurant. I'm very impressed that the rolls are not swimming in thick sauces, and the chefs here allow the ingredients to speak for themselves. Service is extremely competent, prompt, and friendly. The prices are extremely reasonable as well.

The Fred Meyer sushi is more expensive than this! And nowhere near as good. Great service, food, and price!

New owners, remodeled. Cute and good. Update: went again yesterday 2/12/22 intending to get takeout, but was pleasantly surprised that they're open for indoor seating again. Got the sushi lunch and bento which was a huge amount of food. Pretty standard items, but tasted fresh and delicious and was beautifully presented. Photos added

10/10 will be back. Trying out new spots in the neighborhood, and my partner and I enjoyed this little spot. We tried some of our usuals, like shrimp tempura and tuna rolls and really enjoyed them here. We also tried some new rolls like the Super Veggie roll, which is basically a salad in a roll. Come in two big lettuce“wraps”... over all really enjoyed the food and the service. Absolutely will be back. One critic, I didn’t think they gave enough ginger. But I also really love pickled ginger sooooo it’s subjective.
