However, there are a few areas that could use improvement: the wine service was lacking—if you charge a corkage fee, your staff should know how to properly serve wine, including having the host taste it and pouring it for guests; simply opening the bottle doesn’t allow it to breathe. The Gamberi had an unpleasant smell reminiscent of cat food, and the flatware service was lacking—I'd prefer not to hold onto my used utensils for the next course.

Warm and friendly, cozy sized neighborhood gem of a space. Food is excellent and original. I was ver impressed with the bean dishes. Not something I would normally order in an Italian restaurant. The chef is from Tuscany and I guess the bean dishes are comfort food there. Can’t wait to go back and try more!

The server was awesome. He had a great sense of humor without being annoying. The food was very tasty. They have a great Italian wine list.

This is definitely the best Italian restaurant in Portland. The food is authentic and delicious, and the service is both professional and friendly, all within an upscale yet welcoming atmosphere. The lasagna is outstanding!
