Cafe Capelio - Porto

Our first meal stop in Porto and our first attempt at the famous Francesinha. D’ya know what ? It was good. Heart attack food but good. Friendly staff, reasonable prices for a riverfront table and lots to see.

We had a few Sangria's in Portugal and Spain. The one from Capelio is still the best. Rich in red wine and not just tasting like cordial with plenty of fruit at a great price. What a Sangria should be!

Decided to sit here while waiting for a taxi for our flight home it's a beautiful day and we managed to get a table here to look at the river and people watch in the sun. Figured I'd get some food too so ordered lasagne. Wish I hadn't it was a lump of cheese, with a slice of bacon underneath and some more cheese with what can only be described as paltry bits of beef and very overlooked pasta. I was hungry so ate what I could but it really was terrible. Wish I'd read the reviews before ordering! On the plus side, view is great and drinks and service reasonable. Just avoid the food!

Belo lugar para tomar um café. Pessoas simpáticas. depois de dois cafés ao lado, estávamos a reservar um café e uma cerveja porque precisavam das mesas de almoço. Era meio dia e vinte.

Eu amei o fato de que o choque foi assado na mesa como se um naco na pedra fosse tratado, eu nunca tinha servido o choizo assado assim. uma apresentação espetacular de chá preto, com disponibilidade para colocá-lo no gelo para tornar-se mais agradável para um dia quente. grande hospitalidade dos funcionários. boa vista do douro e da ponte velha. um lugar para voltar com certeza.
