Il Giardino - PORTO AZZURRO

A neighbour of ours in Lacona recommended this restaurant and we booked a table. This is a family run restaurant since 1973 and you can tell it is a family run restaurant because the welcome, the attention to detail, the service care and the food prove it. The setting of the main seating area is under citrus trees with a large pond feature at one end. The trickling water provides a stunningly beautiful, relaxing and peaceful atmosphere which adds very positively to the whole experience. Despite the modest prices this restaurant is a five star venue and highly recommended. Booking is essential because, understandably, it is full all the time. Thank you to Massimo, Antonio and the rest of their team. We shall be back.

It is way overrated in reviews. Pizzas are pretty good and cheap, other dishes might have big portions for the price. However, whole setup is somewhat “artificial” service, surroundings. Main fish dishes were not that tasty either (ie fried mix includes mainly cheapest ingredients)

I think that it is the best place to eat and spend time in Elba. Gluten free pizza is perfect and the staff, decorstions and plants make this place perfect.

Very cozy place and very good food, for two consecutive nights we ate both fish and pizza. everything ok. to return definitely
