The food is delicious! It's strictly a take out as you can see from the name Take a Plate. Definitely try it out! It will NOT disappoint!

The food was delicious and well portioned. I arrived two hours before closing, but the chef mentioned they had stopped cooking for the day. However, fried foods kept coming out, which was nice. The service was quite laid back; one staff member even commented that I shouldn't come at that time, but since it was my first visit, I wasn't aware of that. I did have to lower my rating by one star because of the service, but the food was definitely a five-star experience, and I would go back. Now that I know the rules, I'm still supportive of this great restaurant—it might have just been an off day for them.

I wasn’t in the mood to cook but was craving some comfort food. I had been here once before, so I decided to return. The turkey wings are simply delicious! You can tell they really know how to cook. This isn’t a fast-food place; it’s a sit-down meal that someone has put time and effort into preparing. I stood leaning against the wall, eagerly anticipating my food while I waited. I was so hungry that I ended up adding to my order. In the end, I can honestly say it was worth the wait!

I've only been there twice, but the smothered pork chops are absolutely delicious! The mac and cheese and greens are also great. Their half iced tea, half lemonade with crushed ice is amazing! I can't wait to try more items on the menu. The portion sizes are generous too.
