Yamato - Portsmouth

It's worth it. Good food and waitress is pretty fast. Political, but not really friendly, but this is neither here nor there as I am there for service and food.

Every time I've been here it's been amazeing food, the service was great, and I love the atmosphere of the place. It was an all around great experience. I love the lobster racoon, the chicken yakitori, and the vegible tempura.

One of the best restaurants in Portsmouth! Easy to find, lots of parking, fast table service, and the food is always delicious.

The service here is consistently quick and friendly. It's casual enough for a lunch outing yet stylish enough for a romantic dinner. While there isn't any table grilling like you might find at some places, you do have the option to watch the chefs at work in the hibachi barbecue area. Although it lacks the dinner-and-a-show experience, the food is still outstanding. Plus, a nice perk is that you won’t have to share a large table with strangers. The sushi is of excellent quality!

Is this the only sushi restaurant in town? We ordered three of their special rolls: Spicy Girls, Crazy Roll, and Green Dragons. I would highly recommend all of them, especially the Crazy Roll—it was packed with delicious ingredients! The atmosphere was beautiful and understated. We visited on a typical Friday without a reservation and were seated right away. We're looking forward to going back! It would be fantastic if they had a "specials" menu to offer even more roll options.
